• salut à tous! je rectifie ici une erreur. selon certains, je n'ai pas assez souligné la présence d'un compatriote dans les rangs de Dallas en finale des playoffs NBA 2006. c'est le second Congolais en finale, rejoignant ainsi le vieux Dikembe Mutombo (1 fois avec NJ Nets et 1 fois avec 76ers) à la différence que DJ joue très peu. pour ceux qui n'ont pas été satisfait, je rajoute dans ce post une fiche plus complète sur ce joueur Congolais qui va encore progresser j'en suis sûre. il est agent libre, espérons qu'il va signer pour avoir plus de minutes de jeu... j'ai nommé le numéro 28 des Dallas Mavericks...

    la seconde journée d'épreuve des Français, le champion du monde Ladji Doucouré a avalé les haies en 13"27 avec un vent de face de 1.5m/s! c'est finalement le quatuor du relais 4x400m qui décrochent la coupe en remportant de 2 points face à la Russie, 118 à 116!!! bien joué les Français.

  • hier, se déroulait à Malaga la Coupe d'Europe d'Athlétisme. les Français ont eu un peu de mal... peut-être parce qu'ils se sont fait siffler tout le long à cause du mundial de foot. en tout cas, il y a eu 3 victoires françaises: Naman Keita au 400m Haies, Marc Raquil au 400m et Ronald Pognon au 100m. par équipe, la France est 6ème avec 50 pts (leader Russie avec 72 pts) chez les hommes et 4ème chez les femmes avec 52 pts (leader: Russie à 83 pts)... à suivre...

  • hier soir, c'était la Draft 2006. avec beaucoup de surprises. comme vous le savez, les joueurs sont évalués sur leur performances en carrière universitaire, sur la March Madness et les compétitions internationales qui révèlent en quelque sorte les joueurs qui résistent à la pression et aussi sur leur potentiel en terme de développement à moyen terme.
    cette année, les GMs ont recherché de la taille et du muscle à l'intérieur de la raquette. c'est Marcus Williams qui, souffrant sûrement de sa mauvaise réputation (il a été arrêté pour vol de PCs, ce qui a pu refroidir les sélectionneurs), n'a été choisit qu'après les 20. finalement, c'est un mal pour un bien puisqu'il va se retrouver avec son co-équipier de UConn Josh Boon (j'aime bien ce joueur, il trempe le maillot, comme on dit). tous deux ont été choisit coup sur coup par New Jersey qui avait le choix 22 et 23. il font une bonne opération en récupérant un très bon arrière et un bon intérieur pour renforcer la raquette. je ne pense pas qu'ils les échangeront!
    il y a eu 6 joueurs internationaux choisit au premier tour (20%) et 10 au second (33%) ce qui portent le total de drafté internationaux à 26.7%. le français Pape-Philippe Amagou n'a pas été drafté. il lui restera les camps d'été pour se faire remarquer...
    à noter, depuis cette annnée, il faut avoir 19 ans pour s'inscrire à la draft donc avoir fait au moins un an à l'université ou quitter le lycée très tard, ce qui sous-entend que le joueur était très nul en classe. LOL! bon assez attendu, voilà le top 14 des draftés, c'est le choix des équipes qui n'ont pas fait les playoffs. 3 de mes chouchous sont dans le top 10, hourra!!!

    voyons la ligne de stats du draftable Pape-philippe Amagou: 15 min, 0 pts, 0-2 au LF, 1 faute provoquée, 1 balle perdue et 1 passe décisive. c'était pas son jour mais le fait de gagner le titre fait un peu monter sa cote. dans tous les cas, on lui souhaite le meilleur en NBA!
